Even though IE 8 is packed full of new enhancements I tried it out and was disapointed in the speed. It lags in loading up especially on sites that rely on a lot of moving gif images and graphics. I switched some of my computers to use firefox now and it is a lot faster in browsing. I was on the support forum at Microsoft trying to figure out why it was so slow and the consumers complaining was unbelievable. The tech person from Microsoft did ackowledge that IE8 was prematurly launched without a complete testing in the real world.Hopefully they will find a solution to their problem soon before more people like myself switch over to another browser. I was also given a patch to make it faster but still was slow with graphic issues like gif images.
