On Aug 18, 2010 Curtis Priest, Ryan Priest & Jeremy Choi of Pixelcarve attended Harry Rosen’s Bloor Street location to celebrate the launch of Tesla’s all-new, all-electric Roadster 2.5. The two-seater has a top speed of 125 mph, along with an impressive 0-60 mph acceleration under 4 seconds. A base price of $108,000 USD, plus extras such as the $3000 high-speed charger, certainly make the car an elite item, but it’s 135mpg and estimated cost of less than $0.02 per mile should offer some relief.

But in truth the night wasn’t about debating the efficacy of such a vehicle, but rather gathering with fellow automotive enthusiasts from across Toronto at a great venue to celebrate this remarkable technical achievement in automotive history.

Jeremy Choi, Curtis Priest, Ryan Priest of Pixelcarve Inc,
and Cheryl Proctor of Fueled Strategies.

Of course, where there’s a great event, there’s The Globe & Mail covering it.

The great conversations, drinks and food aside, the real reason for the event was to gawk at this automotive masterpiece, and of course go for a test drive (or sit)!

Although not new to music, you may know Jill better as A.D.A. Claire Kincaid from Law & Order, Dr. Jordan Cavanaugh from Crossing Jordan, or perhaps you know her best as the second person to appear in Maxim Magazine (below).

Now Jill adds professional recording artist to her resume, with the release of her first studio album. Deeply emotional, beautifully poetic and performed with the energy and grace of a genuine rock star, the event was filled with humour, cheers and a lot of very happy fans. Curtis and Ryan pose here with Jill after her performance, who was gracious and humble.

Congratulations Jill, and best of luck with the album!

The above video outlines some basic and fundamental points on how to make your website work for your business. The internet is a massive pool of potential customers, and in order to market yourself correctly to your audience, you need to start by defining your online goals, deciding what you want your customers to be able to do on your website, finding a proper host, and spending the appropriate amount of money to ensure you end up with a quality and long-lasting product. Your website is a virtual business card for your company, so make sure it’s done right the first time, or else it may end up costing you more in the long run.
